Prince of Persia? Hit or Bust?
So, I went to a movie the other day, and like any other movie theatre, this one had promo posters of up coming movies displayed on the wall, and like any other movie theatre customer I had to peruse the displays to see if there is anything worth drooling over. Now, I knew they were making a Prince of Persia: Sands of Time movie, but I had no idea what was ahead of me. Eventually I stumbled upon this poster.
First thing I noticed was Jake Gyllenhaal epically displayed across the poster. I couldn't contain myself and broke out laughing. Next, I saw the Disney logo and that's when I lost it. I got nothing against Jake Gyllenhaal, but he was NOT who I expected, let alone Disney as the production company. It is no doubt that they will have the budget, but will it be worth the $8-10 to see it?
What do you think of video game movies? What do you think of the new Prince of Persia movie? Will you go see it?

Blast from the Past
All the hype about E3 annoucements has got every gamer, guys and girls alike, jizzing in their pants with excitement. Don't get my wrong I am right up there with you, with Castlevainia, FFXIV, Assassins Creed 2, God of War III, and MGS. It's gonna be one hell of a year.
Around this time of year, though, I like to sit down and pull out the good ol' SNES and play what I consider to be some of the best games ever made. My favorite game was made for the SNES. Which I will leave it up to you to guess what that is. Kudos to those who can figure it out. I've grown up with the video game boom, so I've watched games progress overtime, and its hard not to get involved. I'm all about the RPG's. I feel that RPG's today just aren't as fun, or challenging as ones made for the SNES. That can be argued easily, but I'm not looking for a fight. I'm just looking to see what people think about new vs. old.
So what is it for you? New or Old?. Anyone else a sucker for the older games? Do you have a system from the past that you can't part with? SNES, PSX, Sega Saturn? Feel free to reminisce and let us know what that is.

Guitar Loser
So according to Kotaku, 505 Games is coming out with Rolling Stone: Drum King for the Wii, and Activision has word of a DJ Hero not to mention the Guitar Hero 5 which will be the 12th addition to the family. Personally I feel this whole franchise of music video games is being exploited farther then it should. Guitar Hero and Rock Band are good party games, but Drum King? DJ Hero? Really?
Anyone else feel these games are getting stretched a little farther then they should be?

Konami Code Anyone?
Programers for Hardest Level should throw the Konami Code into the site like Facebook.
